September’s an exciting time to be in London if you love Arabic films, old or new. The Arab British Centre, in partnership with the ICA and Dubai International Film Festival, are presenting what they describe as “the most ambitious programme of popular Arab film ever seen in the UK”. Predictably, it’s mostly Egyptian films but there are a few Jordanian and Lebanese ones in there too.

A Season Pass allows you to buy tickets to 5 or more screenings from the Safar programme for £8 per ticket. The line up:
